Is There A Perfect Relationship
In many countries we have the idealised "love" relationship, however this is
very unstable as we see by the rising divorce rate. There is also the arranged
marriage which is often more successful than a love relationship. However
throughout history, our relationships and sexuality have been controlled,
moderated, accepted and rejected by others.
The perfect relationship where everyone is "always completely happy" is perhaps an impossible dream. Like the seasons and weather every

If we look back through history, far back we have the hunter-gatherer tribes
where men and women were more equal than the ideal many of us seek today. With
the development of agriculture and larger societies, women became more
subservient through into the present day where women are still
fighting for equity in many arenas of life.
What Effects our Relationships?
The short answer is "everything". Just think, how we are in this moment is a
result of every though, feeling and experience throughout our life. From the foods
we eat, the people we associate with, the books we read, the movies we view, the
place we live, our employment and interests all combine to effect us, and then,
we have politics... Life is very political and this is an area when people seek
power and control over others, and politics exist within families, communities as
well as corporations, churches, states and countries.
The consequences of politics are that politics either limit or provide freedom
to explore.
Current Opportunities
Today, many of us have the freedom to explore many different ways of relating
and having sex, and typically we find that key issues are in creating the freedom
